Florida Whips Recognition Program
We are excited to announce the launch of the new Florida Whips Recognition Program!! The intent of this program is to encourage the active participation of our members in the various activities which promote the sport of driving. It is designed to ensure that everyone who contributes to the success of our sport is eligible to earn recognition. Activities are grouped into four individual categories: The Navigator, The Whip, The Wheeler, and The Leader. Each season, members who complete each category’s requirements will earn a corresponding pin recognizing their contributions. Members who earn pins in multiple categories have the potential to earn the Single, Pair, Tandem, or Coach awards which include an embroidered hat (Single & Pair), polo shirt (Tandem), or driving apron (Coach) on which to display their pins. We even have a special category for Volunteers – without whom none of this would be possible.
While all Florida Whips members are eligible – members who wish to participate must submit a completed Event Recognition Form to: info.flawhips@gmail.com with the Subject as: Recognition Program, within 15 days of the completion of each qualified event. Submissions will be verified, approved, and logged. Participants may inquire about their program status at any time throughout the season.
As with any new program, there will likely be a few adjustments and enhancements needed along the way. The current list of Rules and Requirements along with the Event Recognition Form are available by selecting them below. Please check back periodically throughout the season – to stay informed of any additions or alterations.
